Ciel Bleu to present Germany's Culinary Elite on April 11th
During a déjeuner dînatoire, the German top chefs Joachim Wissler of Restaurant Vendome (***) and Nils Henkel of Restaurant Lerbach (***) will be preparing, in cooperation with Onno Kokmeijer (**) , a never-to-be-repeated six-course menu, preceded by various amuse-bouches.
The six-course Ciel Bleu Presents... menu is € 249.00 including matching wines and transportation by Infiniti car (in the Amsterdam area). Excluding the wines the menu is € 160.

New workshops in Taste of Okura

Taste of Okura, the culinary center of Hotel Okura Amsterdam where you can cook your own star dinners, has proved to be a success in the first few months after the opening. Now, it is time to announce the new calendar of available workshops. In the next months you can, for example, choose the workshop Taste of Kaizeki, where you practice the very precious haute cuisine of Japan: Kaiseki Ryōri. It is the perfect way to experience this highly refined art! An overview of all planned workshops is now online.

Renovation
Between now and March 2010, renovations will be taking place on a few guest floors in the hotel. This is an investment aimed at improving our guests' experience.
